Hi, I'm Heather.
Math tutor and executive function coach.
I combine 20 years of teaching experience with a passion for cultivating clarity to help students move beyond academic frustration.
Through a blend of math tutoring and executive function coaching, my clients don't just find success in the classroom; they develop the self-starting habits, self-advocacy skills, and confidence they need to become capable, lifelong learners and contributors.
How did you get into this?
I began my career in high-tech, but while working on my first master’s degree in management, I had the opportunity to teach at the college level and quickly fell in love with working with students. The path wasn’t linear, but I later found myself teaching high school math and then middle school math.
What led you to executive function coaching?
The need for EF coaching happened in my own home. I lived the struggle with someone I love, and with my students in the classroom.
What are you seeing?
People struggling with things that seem simple for others. Starting tasks. Completing and turning in homework. Remembering what they’d promised to do. Following through on plans they genuinely wanted to keep. And the profound impact this has on their confidence, mindset and outcomes.
